Official name
The twelfth Tul is named after the famous Korean general Ge-Baek (660 AD) during the Baekje dynasty. The pattern follows a straight line and embodies the strict and rigorous discipline that this general advocated.

Additional
In the crucial Battle of Hwangsanbeol, the troops led by Ge-Baek defended the then capital of Korea, Buyeo, against a tenfold larger attacking force. He killed his wife and children so that he would not have to surrender if taken captive. Ultimately, his troops lost the battle, and he was killed.
