– Eui-Am name –
The Taekwon-do pattern has 45 movements.

Official name
Eui-Am is the pseudonym of Son Yong Hi, leader of the Korean independence movement of March 1, 1919. The 45 movements of this Taekwon-do form of practice indicate his age when he changed the name of the Confucian religion Don Hak (Eastern culture) to Chondo Kyo (religion of the heavenly way) in 1905.
The diagram, a straight line, represents his untamable spirit in his dedication to the prosperity of his homeland.
Additional
This underground Korean independence movement drafted an ‘independence declaration’ together with 33 other movements. On March 1, 1919, the declaration was published. As a result, the population rose up, leading to anti-Japanese demonstrations. However, these were brutally suppressed. Eui-am was imprisoned and died several years later in captivity.
Learning
This next-generation Tul features twisted foot techniques and various forms of fist strikes as central elements.
