– Se-Jong name –
This Pattern has ‘only’ 24 movements.

Official designation
Se-Jong is regarded as the greatest Korean king. He developed, among other things, the Korean alphabet and was also a great meteorologist. The diagram takes the form of the characters that mean ‘King’ in the Korean script.
The 24 movements of this Tul represent the Korean alphabet.
Additionally
The alphabet developed by Se-Jong is called Hangul. It is based on a phonetic way of writing words (as you hear them). This method is still commonly used in Korea, and there is a learning system called Se-Jong 1, 2, etc.
Learning
This practice form, for the highest-ranked Taekwondo practitioners, mainly consists of one single technique. There are no continuous movements involved, and the long walking stance and fixed stance are used frequently. This requires a very powerful and efficient execution.
