– Kwang-Gae name –
This Taekwon-do exercise form has 39 movements.

Official name
The tenth Tul is named after the famous Gwang-Gea-Toh-Wang, the 19th king of Korea in the Koguryo dynasty. The king reclaimed all the territories lost in previous wars, including part of Manchuria. The diagram presents the loss and gain of the lost territories.
The 39 movements refer to the two digits of 391 AD, the year the king ascended to the throne.
Additional
The history of Korea consists of losing territories to conquerors and then reclaiming them. Kwang-Ge recaptured lost territories (64 castles and 1400 villages, according to legend) and is therefore still honored in Korea.
Learning
This Tul teaches the possibilities of executing a technique in slow motion. In addition, various ways to position the hands in the Tul are incorporated. This expands the repertoire of the Taekwondo practitioner further.
